New World War

Does the United States still have the same Super Power? With Putin invasion of Ukraine President Joe Biden announced of US-imposed penalties on Russia.

From the 60's, through the 2000's the United States has had programs in place like "Star Wars" the United States was able to puff the chest a little bit.

Let fast forward to today's world United States has private companies working with NASA to coordinate space mission. What does this mean? Prime example take the imposed penalties on Russia for the invasion of Ukraine, the Russian space chief, has claimed that new US sanctions could have dire consequences for the future of the International Space Station (ISS). In a tweet, director general Dmitry Rogozin warned that the sanctions could "destroy our cooperation on the ISS" Rogozin said on twitter: "if you block cooperation with us, who will save the ISS from an uncontrolled deorbit and fall into the United States or Europe?"

Does Russia really have this type of power where the United States needs the Russian space agency to save the "ISS" if this is the case the United States is in a world of trouble. How can we allow something like this to even happen. Is this due to end of the "cold war?" "Working together for the common good?" Now Russia is using this as leverage.
